Speaking at the meeting, BRVT Provincial Party Secretary – Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh said that Vietnam and Australia have had 45 years of establishing diplomatic relations and have raised the level of strategic partnership. Australia and the province of BRVT have also spent 10 years building a cooperative relationship with the two sides regularly organizing delegations and exchanges to promote trade and investment activities. During this business trip to Northern Australia, BRVT leaders agreed on 6 main contents of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the Northern Australian government, focusing on issues of agricultural development and tourism, and cooperation. vocational training in these two areas. Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of BRVT suggested continuing to maintain rotational dialogue between the two localities from now until 2022 and actively organizing youth and student exchange programs to strengthen the relationship between the two localities. In the field of education and training, Mr. Tuan said, BRVT is studying a model of a Vocational Training Fund to support the province’s international students to study in Northern Australia. In the field of investment, Mr. Tuan affirmed that BRVT will adopt associations such as VBAA to create favorable conditions for businesses of the two sides to exchange and cooperate in investment in areas of strength such as agriculture and fisheries. . In the tourism sector, BRVT is constantly upgrading its infrastructure to attract international tourists.
